First of all, the boat’s name is The Dragon Fruit which is licensed by the USCG for 6 passengers.   It is a private charter.  The pricing is for the "boat" not per passenger.  Rates start at $775 plus tax for a 4-5 hour trip. Next, your charter includes a full meal, drinks (water, soda, beer), excellent quality gear (fins, snorkels, masks & tanks and weights if you are scuba diving)   Simpatico Charters has an expert in-water guide, Ruthie, who provides thorough instruction and will be with you in the water at all times to keep everyone safe and to lead you around the reef at a slow steady pace.  Ruthie says, “well….until the turtles start swimming by and then we try to swim as fast as they do!”  The Dragon Fruit always travels to real coral reefs.  Ruthie says "We are all about the fishies!  We take our time to teach basics about fishy life on the reef, different types of hard and soft corals, seafans and sponges and of course we learn the names of each fish.  I really pour my heart into each experience and it's my hope and prayer that someday it will plant a seed of curiosity and passion and many of our people will fall in love with the ocean, as I have.   This job... it's my life's dream come true.   Thank you for making that possible."    Ruthie takes amazing GoPro videos underwater and as a super value added service, Simpatico Charters will provide you with a roughly 2 minute video of your day in the ocean!
